mains cold feed to cylinder?

Low h/w pressure at bath taps.Lack of ht. on CWST.
Would eliminating tank and feeding the cyl. direct from mains be a possible solution?

What you need is to change your taps for low pressure system type or fit a booster pump next to the cylinder!
 
I have seen it done , with the expansion pipe sealed off and bugger me do you know the cylinder had split causing a bit of a leak below.
Not a good idea to make your own unvented.
