Hi...looking to fit a megaflow and so need to upgrade my mains feed from the meter. has anyone done this them selves and was it a huge PITA?? I've got a concreted drive and I can't really see the mans pie in the meter inspection hole. is the only real option to dig a trench in the drive to replace the pipe or are there other options?

Thanks

V.

What pie has he left there ? chicken or steak & kidney ?
And what's it doing in your meter inspection hole ?

no otehr answers to this. Guess it's a professional job involving moleing or digging a blooming deep trench (not really an option for me as it's very think contrite...)

Mains water needs to be at least 750 mm below ground level.

Normally moled from two smaller holes.

Fellow I met today had his replaced for just £100 ! Contractors had time on their hands and wanted a bit of extra cash.
