We've recently had a conservatory built with a dwarf brick wall, and wanted to keep the interior as plain brick.
However they constantly look dirty / dusty.
Today we went over them with a stiff dry brush, and then again with the brush wetted to get the brick as clean as possible.
Thing is, when it's wet they look great, and the brick "colour" is strong, but once they dry again they go back to a pale dusty looking finish:
When wet:
When dry:
I'm not looking for a glossy finish, I still want the natural brick finish, but is there anyway to keep the strong brick colour that they have when wet rather than the pale "dry" colour?
I wondered about some kind of sealant, but a number of them claim not to change the appearance of the brick... which while useful in most uses isn't going to help me.
Any suggestions? Thanks
