If you have never had the top off, how do you know that it is only for your kitchen?
Are you the first on the run or last?
Even if the only feed from your land is clean/ brown water, a blockage further up can be rodded to cause your garden to flood with sewage

as said, these things don't block at 8.00 am on a sunny summer's afternoon. It will be peeing it down, midnight, and your shoes will leak.

at the very simplest, lift the dam thing before you do any work, it could be on the point of collapse and you are about to try to wall it in.
the least that you can do is ensure that it is in ok condition

Not sure where you got the assumption we've not even taken the top off from.
We took the top off when we exposed it. There's only 1 pipe in it, which comes from our soil stack out of the kitchen. Turn on kitchen tap, water flows to manhole outside kitchen window, down to this manhole, which then changes direction down the side of the house.

Build a section of planter on heavy castors then it can be wheeled away for access, cement board painted can mimic rendered wall and lightweight enough for construction of planter.

They would have to be of supreme quality, so as not to become seized through lack of use. They rarely behave the way you'd expect.
A couple of scaff poles under the planter, with another couple in the shed works.

Built a bar on castors , wheeled it round the garden for years without problem .Doesn’t have to be on wheels a trolley jack would move it as well .

As long as they get used they'll be ok. When an item like this lies dormant for long periods, they seize, unless they are of supreme quality. One or more of those dormant castors will likely become troublesome, making the whole wheeled thing a problem.

Bar was stationary for about 5 years , no problem moving it , well greased bearings.
