marble tiles

Hi all,
going to try and lay natural marble tiles to the whole down stairs floor,will be laying over concrete so any tips on cutting,laying and do i need to split it between rooms?
Also do i need to seal before laying or afterwards?

Find the highest point and the lowest point and decide if the difference is too great or whether or not you can work between them. If too great then use levelling compound first.

Place a corner of a tile at the centre of a room/area and work out the layout from that.
