Right, as you guys know, i'm building my timber frame toilet/shower building. I've now built the timber frame panels, and taken delivery of my roof trusses.
I've attached a plan diagram of the layout of the building, and a diagram of my trusses. As you can see i need to build a stud partition down the centre to divide the gents from the ladies.
There's no ceiling in the building, as the roof will be vaulted as to increase room volume/air circulation and aesthetics . I'm double butting up the roof trusses to increase the centre spacings to 2.4m. This will mean theres effectively 4 trusses that run the length of the ladies and gents.
Whats the best way of building the stud wall? (fixing to trusses etc) The centre is 4.3m from floor to ridge of truss. Is there a max height for stud?
Can i make a 2.4m stud wall (150mm by 47mm studs), and then errect a 1.9m stud wall on top of that?
Any advice would be great
