Meile w504 stops like fuse is gone, unpluging resets it!

Hi all,

I have a w504 premier plus washing machine that is sporadically not completing the cycle. It will usually work through to the end of the wash, but occasionally the machine goes dead at some point (when it is full of water) and appears to have no power. I thought it was blowing the fuse, but find that if I unplug the machine and plug it in again, it will 'reset' and start working again.

Can you tell me what might be the problem?

Have you tried plugging the machine into a different socket, it may just be the socket is faulty
