I am using 3m x 100 x 100mm posts as poles for washing line. I have used 100 x 100 x 750mm metapost spike, and for extra support I have bedded these in concrete. They are going nowhere. Prolem is that there is quite a lot of wobble of the post within the metapost bracket, not matter how may screwsI put in. Any tips?

Many thanks

if there is a building site near you where they are putting up the timber frame houses that
they then brick around call in and have a word with the site agent
they'll have all different sizes of plastic wedges scrounge a few
take the screws out of your post drive these down two sides forcing the post into the opposite corner
then rescrew, don't cut your wedges as you'll need to drive them in later as the posts dry out

Megawwat, take your point, but feel I am past the point of no return!
