Mice in outbuilding cavity

We have a portacabin style building that has been clad with wood vertically sort of like -_-_-_-_- and mice are getting in under between the cladding strips at the bottom. The portacabin stands on a concrete base.

Any ideas as how to fill these voids accordingly whilst not breaching any damp proof requirements.

if you can get a pencil through a hole, a mouse can get in.

We used something similar cut into strips to block the gap under the shed as we had a lot of mice living there. Not seen once since.
