Could do with a couple of opinions on this one!

I have extended a downstairs room (with solid floor ) and need to reinstall the radiator (approx 2.5K). I have 15mm flow and returns , spurred off the main (22mm) flow and return drop to downstairs, and which feed no other rads. However I want to use microbore pipe to feed this rad, so I can conceal the pipework run (approx. 4m) behind skirting in the newly decorated room. - so my question is this: Can I connect microbore directly onto the 15 mm feeds or must I use a manifold, as used on microbore systems?

Any input and/or explanations regarding the above would be greatly appreciated!
