Might new wood smell be toxic?

I have just laid a new flooring down and all seems to be well bar the fact that the new floor height keeps causing the door to get trapped.

I am worried that if I saw under the door, I might react to the smell of the new wood(I have multiple chemical sensitivities). The particular door is a 100 year old building for all I know the wood may have glues, natural vocs are anything could potentially come out.

Would you advise cutting the door? I'm scared. I previously done a laminate job and the new smell wrecked havoc that I needed to change the floor again.

thanks

We don't know what you're sensitive to, but take the door off the frame and cut it outside wearing a respirator?
