Mira Advance Electric Shower intermitent fault Thermostatic

Hi

I would be greatful of our some help my mira advance 9.8kw shower has operated faultless for a number of years - it has now developed a number of intermitent faults

It flashes up a red light - service required - then runs cold - some times if it is switched off it will restart

other times its clicks and then stops - Is this a solenoid issue? other time it will not switch off with the panel button so we need to switch it off with the isolation pull cord

any help would be greatfully accepted
