Hi :D

Having problems with my shower going cold and sometimes switching itself off altogether.

Tried cleaning the filter and have ensured 13amp connector is in place properly, still no joy

Could it be the thermostat is knackered and if so, is there any way of replacing or would I be as well buying a complete new shower? (It's maybe 8 years old)

Many thanks and apologies if I've posted this in wrong forum

Does it overheat before going cold. Also do you mean it switches off altogether ie flow stops?

It doesn't overheat before going cold but i can hear a sort of clicking noise (it's difficult to describe) coming from the shower before it turns cold.

Usually the cold water then starts coming out pretty powerfully for maybe 10 seconds and the 'low pressure' :?: :!: :?: :?: :!: light comes on and the flow stops altogether.

At this point, lots of swearing is usually heard.
