1) Turn water supply off by using a flat bladed screwdriver to turn the isolation valve so that the slot is horizontal - the iso valve is outside the shower unit, bottom right in your photo.
2) Turn the electrical supply to the shower - at the consumer unit/fuseboard there should be a circuit dedicated to the shower - if there is a circuit breaker then switch it off. If you're unsure then post back witht aphoto of the fuseboard.
3) Disconnect the hose from the shower.
4) Put the plug in the bath - to stop any components/screws falling down the plughole.
5) Unscrew the screw at the bottom (underside) of the shower.
6) Remove the shower front casing
7) Using the diagram I posted in #9, locate part 1829.062
8) Unscrew the part (counter-clockwise) - make sure that you keep the 'O' ring seal
9) Check the filter and if it's got debris on the filter screen, flush it under a tap to clear.
10) Refit the filter assembly - make sure that the seal is fitted
11) Reverse steps 6 to 1
