Need much more info first, please. How long is the circuit? Where does it run? Is the cable enclosed in trunking at all, or buried in loft insulation?
What type is the consumer unit it is fed from? What size is the fuse or circuit breaker?
And other questions: Have you got MEB's to your service pipes? Equipotential bonding? A 100A main fuse & meter?
