Mira Sport Max 10.8 kw overheat warning light stays on, water flow is normal, temp cold , and no change in water temp at any setting.

Can anyone point me to what might be wrong, and hopefully which spare part to order, please. :(

I am going to order spare(s) from: http://www.shower-warehouse.co.uk unless someone has a better idea.

Thanks

hi guy's
1. yes relatively and I've a multimeter about somewhere . Can't say I'm competent with it though. Mainly used for auto electrics in the past.
But willing to learn mate, LOL.

2. TCO is that the same as Thermal Switch Part no : 416.41 cause that's the part the mira callout replaced about 2 years back.
I'd have no worries changing that part again and it's only £12 or so.

yes thats the part but check it has continuity first with the shower isolated.
or power bothsides with the shower on.

The TCO is the likely culprit, but you might as well test it before ordering.

1. Isolate the supply to the shower, then remove the cover.
2. Test for any absence of voltage at all terminals before you poke about.
3. Set the meter for continuity (or resistance measurement) and test the TCO. If it's open circuit, order a new one.
