Mira sport problem

Hi there,
I'm hoping some kind person can help with the following
problem.
We have a Mira sport 8.5kw electric shower (6 months old) that occasional goes cold for no apparent reason.
I've checked the filter and it's clean.

If it was only happening in times of peak demand I would belive it could be down to changes in the mains water pressure, but the problem doesn't seem to follow any pattern at all.

Any thoughts , ideas would be greatly appreciated.

how long does it go cold for ?
does it go straight back to hot or do you have to alter the temp dial ?

poss tco
or the flow control valve.

as it's only 6 months old i would call mira as they come out free if under guarentee.

It goes cold for 10 to 15 seconds then goes hot again, and repeats this throughout the shower.

Who fitted the shower? was it a replacement? Think there's a years warantee with Mira stuff assuming its been fitted and commisioned correctly.

Will it stop cycling on a lower heat setting, or a higher flow rate?

Hard water area?

It keeps cycling even on a lower heat setting, and yes we're in a very hard water area (shower filter & head are not scaled up though).
