my shower can be set to any mid range temperature on the heat adjustment dial, but sends out 20 second bursts of hot then cold water when switched on. any ideas what could be causing this ? water pressure is good and everything that should be lit up is. please help !

you got a flow issue and it's activating the tco.
what sprint is it early or later model ?
try running it without the shower head.
