There is nothing we can do for these poor kids that take away the horror of what happened to them. Hopefully some of the fiddlers are still alive to take their punishment and won't sleep easy until they die or face justice. The only good that can come out of this is it will happen less now and kids know they will be listened too.

You would have to prove causality as correlation is not causality. A kid being skinny or fat could be child abuse but it doesnt automatically mean child abuse results in fat / skinny kids.

All society can do is try to reduce the risk.
