The racing car for the new British Formula one team was brilliant. High top speed, road holding un-believable. Just one problem, poor acceleration due to lack of power from the engine.
The designers worked 24 hours 7 days a week to get more power. Then one of the girls in the office said she knew two people who migh be able to help. The owner said "can't do any harm, bring them here as soon as you can "
Three days later two old men arrived with the girl and demanding total privacy went to work on the engine, only the office girl was with them to pass on requests for tools, components, coffee, camp beds and blankets
Two days later the old men came out of the workshops and left. Dis-believing the team went to try the engine. They were shocked. it had almost four times the power..... the acceleration was incredible.
The owner got the girl and asked how he could thank the men, how much did he owe them, where were they, why had they just slid away, were they illigal immigrants or something......
The girl said they enjoyed the work and didn't do it for reward. They had a secret past and liked to remain annonymous and out of teh public eye. But they have left a note for you. to explain how they did it.......
