Hi, can anyone tell me what's the best moss killer on the market? Are there any other household products that I can use?
Thanks Dave

I would rake it out then scarifier plus aerated it and brush the sharp sand into the holes to allow drainage, normally the reason for moss is poor drainage. If you use moss killer, it will come back again later unless you aerated it etc

Whatever moss killer you buy, it will have an iron compound in it. The cheapest way to get this is to go to an amenity supplier and buy the 'neat' iron in powder form. Dilute it according to the instructions and spray it on.

The problem with moss isn't the easy job of killing it but the hard work of raking it out of the grass - assuming that you are referring to this and not a hard surface. The best way of preventing moss is to establish a close, good sward and that is just good greensmanship over a longish period.
