Hello there . Although I have spent many interesting hours reading all the good advice ,this my first post .
The problem with the outlaw, started with the cold water overflow running continuously from the cold water tank situated directly above the hot water cylinder. As the system is over 50 years old and the cold tank is asbestos ,I thought it was prudent to run the hot tap to empty the cold tank before I started just incase the whole thing cracked and a disaster occurred .Everything went OK and a new ball valve ?was fitted .However the mil has now reported that the water is not getting hot (just slightly warm). As I do not believe I did anything to cause this !!, I am at a loss to understand it .Any suggestions would be appreciated
