Moving photos around in albums

I have Windows 10 and I have a photo album of about 20 photos. Each time I put a copy or move photos into the album, they seem to go in a random placement instead of in the order I copy or move. I cannot find how to rearrange the photos in the album to the order I want. Can anyone advise please how I can do this?

Open folder and sort.
Click at the top.
Can sort on date. Size. Ect. At the top of each information column.

Other way is to rename files. Right click on file and rename.

A Trees
B people
C dogs
Ect

Then sort by alphabet
Watch instructions on YouTube on sorting files would be your best option

Oh, the ABC sounds brilliant, it seems the simplest way to re place them. How come I didn't think of that! Thank you I will have a go.
