The multipoint lock on my 10+ year old permadoor front door has just gone and now I can't actually lock the door. I managed to prise it open as the two bolts are not fully engaged but are just a little. Where the actual mortice lock is in the middle, the frame is bulging slightly so I'm not sure what's happened there.

I want to replace this over the weekend but getting hold of the mechanism outside the internet is proving difficult. I have found one at screwfix with a 35mm backset. Measuring mine from the door edge to the centre of these lock cylinder seems to be 45mm. Can I use a 35mm in my door or will that cause problems?

There isn't even a manufacturer mark on the lock and if I do find one on the net to order, I can't lock my front door for days. Help!
