My garage tube lights......

I have one double 6 foot tube light fitting in my garage.
Until recently usually only one tube would fireup. I replaced both tubes and they wouldnt always fire up first flick of the swith.

I thought before about starters but looked and didnt see any on the unit. Now after taking it apart i see no starters!! Both
tubes now not working.

Any ideas why they are not working and should i just buy a new fitting??

Possible your choke units are demic, How old is the fitting?

Think about replacing it. unless you want to play about with the insides

The starters could be internal.

If no starters, what does the choke say on it? How many conductors are attached to the choke?

It could be an HF model.
