My Tits are back!

Not a sign of anything in mine at the moment and I think both times it’s been May 5th and May 7th. :(

We have chick's in ours. Box was falling off tree.

I strapped it back on this morning. I could hear them chirping.

Mrs B thinks we have great tit's.

Love this thread... no trolling, no-one making stupid assumptions and being rude to other posters...

We put up a box last year with a camera in, it wasn't used and the camera failed so we took it out to get it repaired and I forgot to put it back... rather typically it's definitely being used this year, but I've no idea what's in there!

We get a lot of birds in our garden, there's always a pigeon or two wandering about, loads of tits, robins and sparrows, but recently we've gained a crow which I thought was really greedy until I realised it wasn't actually eating what it was picking up, so presumably there's a nest nearby

My bird started sitting yesterday. Blue Tits sit for 14 days so I should be looking at chick on the 20th May. There are 8 eggs.

You've just described the whole country.

I've never seen as many of either, as I have this year.

Magpies in particular; a couple of the buggers were wandering around in my ground-floor guttering yesterday, just over my patio.

Nothing for me this year in the tit box and the robin box. It might be because I’m doing my kitchen up and the noise and disturbance in the back of the house and on the patio/garden has put them off. :(

Probably all the cussing coming from the kitchen

I think there are four so far.

There seems to be only two chicks and an unhatched egg in the nest. I saw one of the adults putting a dead chick out at 9am this morning, I wonder what happened to the others, did they suffer the same fate?

I think I only had five fledge out of the eight that hatched. I never knew what happened to the three that disappeared.
