Need help with a boiler diagnostics

Hi Guys,

Googling brought me here, but reading the rules not sure if I can ask the question. Basically a customers boiler problem has me stumped and wanted some help...

Anyone here an expert on Heatline (specifically star 24 - approx. 15 year old!)?

lol... customer says it stopped working about a year ago, they just got round to calling me now I think theyre due an upgrade... nightmare trying to source any parts!

Depends how busy admin are but normally next day

15 year old heatline, not worked for a year. The parts will come to more than the boiler.

In case anyone's interested I fixed the boiler. There were actually 3 separate issues if you can believe it.

Diaphragm had a tear.
CH NTC sensor faulty
and Ignition module

Parts were approx £200! they paid more for the repair than the boiler cost in the first place!

Without going into too much detail to abide by the rules, it was a case of replacing parts unitil it worked. The only thing I was sure about was the diaphragm! Boiler diagnostics not my strong point I admit.
