Need to make my Metal Gazebo smaller

Ok, i could buy one at the correct size i guess, but the dimensions i want don't seem to exist and i have one i can hack, so thought i'd ask and see if it can be done.

This is 2.4 meters x 2.4 meters.

I want it to be 2.4 meters x 2 meters

I have a narrow patio area where our spa will be and i want this to fit over.

Any ideas on where to start?

Cut the bit out of the middle, but how are you going to rejoin the polyester, overlap and adhesive, maybe?
Oh, It will never pop again, just letting you know before you start

Yes moving the legs in could be an option, and an over hang will not be too bad i guess as it need to fold in For bad weather.

Here is where it will go: To the back fence, it over hangs the black rails by 40 cm, but i was thinking of removing the 2 legs here attach it to the railings it self.

Can you cut two of the legs and sit them on the grass, no maybe not?
It will look proper tidy there ................
