Accenta 8 system - PIR is (wired) Pyronix Enforcer Super.
I just need to remove the one PIR from the wall & tape it up temporarily to paint behind it (I do not want to disconnect any wiring). I know I need to nullify the tamper alarm feature when I undo the one screw on the PIR body to remove the cover ( in order to access the two wall-plug screws).
Q1. I don't think it will suffice to just enter "test routine" using our own 4 digit code will it?.. I think I need to enter "programming mode"..i.e so the "attack" indicator shows on the keypad/panel (that's what the paperwork I have says). This will mean no alarm will go off when I unscrew the cover screw on the pir and remove the cover plate.
I have the 4-digit engineers code..at least I think I do! (we had some issue last year and he talked me through a procedure by phone..I have those notes).
Q2. What happens if the 4 digits I have on record as the engineer's code are for some reason incorrect?..i.e. when I input them into the keypad..what will happen?
Thanks for reading
