As per the title, really......I've never owned or used one of these for rust removal- has anyone any comments, please?
I'm checking out Machine Marts gear which offers 2 types, £40 and £80.
My compressor is big enough, and it's not to be used for fine work.
Cheers and good evening, everyone
John :)

Well - you need a bloody great big compressor, they're pretty noisy, can be dusty and there is a real risk of vibration white finger from using them for extended periods. Other than that "scabblers" just bash steel needles against the surface they are cleaning, so there's little to go wrong as long as they are lubricated

Scaler duly purchased......it's done two hours work removing paint and rust from below a tractor cutter deck.
Heavy on the noise, dust and air but nothing else would do the job as well, due to the shape of the deck - I consider it's paid for itself now, £40.
John :)
