Hi All

Just looking for thoughts on possible solutions.

Currently have an old "system" boiler (working fine) with HW cylinder (36" x 18") in loft with cold water & CH F&E tanks above the cylinder. Due to an imbalance of females vs males in our house we are looking to put in a new bathroom, with bath, shower WHB, loo (this would give us 2 of all of these).

I figured we may as well fit a new boiler & upgrade our water storage so that we could cater for the "worst case" scenario of 2 baths being required at the same time-quite possible.

After dealing with a couple of guys who were only interested in fitting combis we had a really good set of guys come round who really took the time to look at the existing set-up & consider our future use. We need a 3 way valve set-up apparently & they recommended putting another cylinder in the loft in addition to another cold water tank, the problem being that they couldn't go higher than a 42" cylinder if they swapped 1 for 1. They will install a baxi solo 24kw condensing boiler.

Anyways, I just wondered what this set-up sounded like to everyone, I was doing a little research this AM & saw an Albion Cf140 Superduty which
apparently recovers really quickly & would give us 20 litres more than we currently have. The extra cylinder arrangement was quite expensive the guys said so I thought the Albion (whilst more expensive) maybe will do the job & we won't have as much stored HW.

Also does anyone have any idea how much work is invlolved in setting up an extra cylinder, the guys who came round said it would be expensive ?

Cheers-Sorry for long post
