Hi all, We just had a new boiler fitted, everything ok, works well... rads hotter than before, and nice hot running water again....BUT...

Two pipe were altered in the upstairs, under the floor boards...

the Floorboard would not fit down as the pipe were sat too high...

the Plumber decided to cut out a ridge in the floorboard to fit over the pipe.... is this normal?

When fitted there is only about a mm ove clearence from the pipes... im concernd that walking on this area will be enough to fle the boards to touching the pipe....

What do you guys think about this?

P.S. the builder / plumber hasnt been paid yet.....

Joists should have been notched and should not be touching the floorboards.

Ask him nicely to rectify ;)
