Hello,

I am ripping out an aging Netaheat Boiler to replace with a Vaillant or WB Combi.

My question to the viewers is:

How long (& how much) should a plumber take to do the job...ish

Need to de-commision the old boiler
Remove hot/cold/header water tank and pipes in loft
Commission new boiler to existing pipes
Fit scale inhibitor device

I have got quotes and none of them are near each other.

Any guidance is gratefully recieved.

Impossible to say without seeing the job, but £2-2.5k would be about average.

Avoid Vaillant.

The same as doitall.
Hard to give detailed advice without seeing the job. That is around the price that my last 4 or 5 jobs have come in at, with similar sort of equipment/work done.
Have you looked at a Broag Avanta Plus( 5 years parts and labour)
Regards
Graham

Ditto Especially the Broag Avanta Boiler PS fit a dirt remover to the Heating Return, such as a Magnaclean or Spirotop ;)

Vaillant boilers appear to be the top of most consumer surveys for quality, reliability and generally easy to install and commission by the fitter, however are at the top for cost

As I am about to purchase a Vaillant boiler I would be interested why you advise to avoid Vaillant

Because their service dept is the pits as you'll find out.

And they are along way of the top of my survey.

Broag Avanta.

Atag.

Atmos.

Viessmann.

Worcester Bosch.

Are all much better boilers in my opinion.
