new combi fitted

hello..can anyone help me please..i've just had a new combi boiler fitted and where my old hot water tank has been removed theres 2 pipes left one hot one cold.which the plumber says still has water in them but are now blanked off ..he`s put white plastic stoppers on the end of them.thing is the hot one is seeping. if i turn the combi off and the cold water stop tap then try and pull the white stopper off will i have water spraying me if i then remove it ? please help

call him back and tell him to cap them properly with solder cap ends not with pushfit cap ends.
