I got burgled a month or so back they got in through old french doors at the back and made a real mess of them. The insurance company people came around and are happy to replace the doors with new ones but they said they won't replace the frame.

The frame is a dark coloured wood, I think its going to look odd with a white doors on it, if they are replacing the doors would you expect them to replace the frame as well ? If they won't replace the frame, it is reasonable for me to expect them to put some kind of white pvc covering over the exposed wooden frame so its looks all PVC ? I just think without it it will look cr*p .

Cheers

are you expecting white upvc doors? if they are fitting upvc doors the frame will have to be changed as the door section and outer frame are part of the same.

They'll have to replasce the frame aswell, unless you know where the originals were made...? Odds are, that door leaves from another company aren't going to line up, or even use the same hinges.
