So the old oil boiler has decided to shuffle off the mortal coil this morning, at least it made the winter, and has now left me with a potentially hefty bill to replace. It has done a good job and have no issues with the sizing of the boiler for the property (4 bed semi detached)

It is a Turco 2000 70/90 conventional boiler located in the utility room and I need a good replacement and have a coupe of questions if anyone can help.

1, What are the better makes out there for conventional oil boilers.
2, Would a boiler rated 18-25 be able to replace it or would i need the next size up i.e 26/32?

Its on a sealed pressurised system if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

I use Hounsfield and have been very impressed with them. You need to use a Whole House Boiler Sizing Calculator to work out what size boiler you need for your house
