Hi everybody,
Please could you tell me what would be the best option?,
I have just had to replace my old kitchen appliances with new ones,
my old oven was electric which ran off of a plug on the oven ring main to the main cu with a 16amp mcb, the hob was gas and plug was only for the ignition,
my new oven said it was to be hard wired, the max output rating is 3400w
could this be ran in the same way as the old oven?.
The new hob is a ceramic hob its maximum load power is 6.0kw, Would this have to be on its own circuit?. The distance from the hob to the cu is approx 5 to 6 meters, would 4.0 mm cable suffice or would 6.0mm on a 32amp mcb be better,
thanks in advance.

Both of these appliances must be wired in. You cannot use a plug and socket.

You will need a new circuit installing for these.
