New regulations for installers last may?

I was hoping that my warm front grant of 4k would cover the cost of my new oil boiler/oil tank/trv's installation and a couple of bigger rads.
However on the MSE site i've read that new regs have pushed up the cost a lot--can anyone tell me what these regulations were??

The installation company don't seem to be very popular people.
When I chased up a start date having waited 7 months, I started hearing the word "excesses".!!!!
I won't be able to afford excesses--we will just have to go without!
It certainly looks like the installation prices are being inflated--is it because its taxpayers money??
I thought the companies and installers paid tax too.

It will be interesting to see how much extra they want me to pay.

Why not? every other freeloader in this country does, especially the unemployed. Grab whatever your grubby little mits can have for nothing. It`s only us honest grafting taxpayers footing the bill.
No wonder we are no longer an Empire. Makes me sad & I never even fought in the war ( not allowed in for being too handsome).

I did a boiler repair for this fellow. After my repair it was working fine.

It was being replaced free on Warmfront within a private three bed semi in Neasden which sell for about £300,000.

On the driveway was a 2002 space wagon and a smaller car!
