Hi, If I was to buy a new sender unit RT500RF , would it match ok once the jumper settings have been set?? The last two years I have used the RT500RF. I have always had the settings set at 5deg, then when I want the central heating on I would increase the temp above the 5 deg. ie room temp 16 deg scroll up to say 20deg the heating would come on. My problem started today, the heating just turns itself on all day today, even though as I say it is set at 5 deg. how can this happen. the only way to stop it comming on, is to turn off the reciever on the wall. please help?

If it's less than two years old it should still be under salus warranty.
The only thing that really needs to be maintained on them are the batteries, might be worth checking them out.
I only know this because I have one, but the best guy I have found on here, for info regarding The RT500RF. Is 'LeedsPlumber' PM him or alternatively, repost on the plumbing and heating forum they deal with them more often.
Have you tried reset to default, then reprograming it?
