Hi,
New 9.5kw shower being installed with 10mm cable, clipped direct, rcd protected and its being notified through building control.
The consumer unit is a square d and ideally I am after a 45 amp mcb for it but I am struggling to find one.
The local electrical wholesaler recommended a 40amp but Im not sure as with nominal voltage of 230 volts would give 41.3 amps.
The measured voltage is actually 245 volts which if it stayed constant would mean a 40a mcb would be ok any suggestions please?!?!?
