New stat, banging & bubbling?

Also, does the level seem ok? im not sure, but it looks like the ballcock arm has been bent so the tank doesnt fill as much?

It could be right like that, it just seems odd how the overflow is so much higher than the level.

Also note the vent pipe, can see that water regulaly passes through there.

Having a new stat fitted to the boiler to see if that helps, also having gas valve replaced as been told that "isnt working as it should".
