The toilet pan in my bathroom currently joins the soil pipe at a 90 degree angle and is set around 50-60mm from the wall. I want to replace it with a new pan and cistern that sits against the wall.
Most new toilet pans have an exit pipe at the back going straight out. Will it be possible to join a new soil pipe onto this to force a 90 degree angle along the back wall, then another 90 degrees back towards the pipe, then a third 90 degrees to connect to the pipe? I can't see any other way of doing it as the existing soil pipe is running under the bath at around 50-60mm from the back wall.
My problems are
1. New toilets dont tend to have 90 degree outlets, they go straight back towards the back wall
2. My soil pipe is a fair distance from the back wall
The only other solution I can think up is to try and manouvre the pip so that the end is closer to the back wall and then create a kind of 135 degree fitting between the pan outlet and the pipe.
Any ideas would from people in the know would be great!
