Need to fix Newton 508 membrane to walls and floor, but need to make two frames around two set of air bricks to allow air flow into the finished room.

need to know how is the best way to do this and what material to use.

also need to get the membrane round a gas meter what is the best way to deal with this

last one also need to go round an electric board but think this can be removed and then put back in place once membrane is installed is this correct

any advice would be good

there are pictures under membrane in my profile if that would help

Around the air vents you would just fix bits of membranes around the air bricks as best you can, One assumes that as they are air bricks they are above ground level and you seem satisfied that fitting your membrane is an insurance as there are no historical problems with damp/water penetrations with your cellar so I wouldn't worry too much.

With regard to your meters etc then if possible you just need to fit the membrane behind the services. Penetrations are ok with this system as any water drips down the cavity, provided you use the appropriate fixings. The meters wouldn't need relocating as such just detaching from the wall as you slipped the membrane up behind, then just re-fix with the correct fixings. If you want to insulate aswell then that'd be more tricky potentially. If you cannot detach the gas meter in order to slide the membrane up behind you will either have to do the best you can, slide something thinner up behind and seal it against the newlath, not worry about it and take a chance or stump up and have the meter moved.
