Hi all,

Am I ok replacing the radio in a Nissan Almera 2001?
Guy from the breakeryard reckons it might immobilize my car, as its linked to NATs.
How do I check?

Had this problem on a C5 I bought, someone had fitted an Blaupunkt radio which had the same plugs but was messing with the ECU, kept running the battery flat. If you get an aftermarket radio it should come with an adaptor lead that doesn't connect it to the BUS lines or it may be fitted with the correct connector with the offending connections not used. I have fitted Pioneer radios in both my 406 and C5 and they have been fine.
