No circulation to rads

Help/advice please.
Drained down central heating system to re-locate a rad and connect pipework for an additional rad. Refilled system with filling loop (sealed CH system, heated by gas Rayburn stove/boiler ) and bled all rads. On firing up the boiler, the pressure in the pressure vessel rose quickly, the pipe leading into pump got extremely hot, but pipe on flow side didn't heat up at all and no hot water getting to rads.
What's the likely cause and how best to fix?
Any help/advice much appreciated.

Failed or discharged expansion vessel and a failed pump!

make sure auto air vent is open

Check pump is spinning (bleed at the same time)
