Recently the flow from my bath hot water tap has reduced to a trickle!

Well before this happened I replaced the pipes that tee off to my ensuite shower.

Does this sound like an airlock?

does the ensuite shower work ?

if it does, i would guess its the bath tap that is at fault (worn / stuck washer?)

Try turning on the shower in the ensuite, both hot and cold - but with the head unscrewed and your thumb over the end! Then open the bath tap, close it , give it a coouple of minutes for bubbles to move - and hope you're lucky.

Otherwise as Breezer says

May not be relevant, but this happened to me a while ago - there was (still is) a flexible pipe from the hot water tap to the water supply - this had "kinked", and was effectively reducing the water flow.

Bath panel off, unkinked the pipe, all now as it should be

Change that flexible pipe asap. Once kinked they often leak later on. Answer is often to use a much longer one looped round. You can join shorter ones end to end.
