Hi, i recently drained down my heating system to replace a radiator. Now i cannot get any heat to any of the radiators, the pump also doesnt seem to kick in when the programmer tells it too. I have vented all the rads but still no heat. Please help, im freezing.

Boiler and pump fire up, there is heat at the pipes in the airing cupboard, had british gas round today, he said it needed a powerflush and would cost £695. I have been told i can buy a central heating cleaner and that might do the job? What is the best cleaner to use by adding it to my header tank and how long does it normally take to get better?

Why did you change a radiator ?
did the system work prior to draining down?
what was the water like that came out of the rad / system ?
