Hi chaps

Bit of a problem here, we moved into our flat in August, and it appears to be on the economy 7 style hot water heating - we have 2 meters, one for day and one for night, we recently changed electricity supplier from British Gas to Sweb, and at the same time we don't have nice hot water in the mornings any more - more sort of 'tepid' .

SWEB think that it can't be a problem at their end and we must have a faulty radio switch, but it seems strange that the moment they take over the supply we suddenly get this problem !

Any ideas ?

The fault could be elsewhere, and the timing could be a coincidence.

I would start by verifying that the off-peak heater element is powered during off-peak hours.

Then, verify that the thermostat for the off-peak heater is working.

If the element has power and the thermostat is working, then the heating element is faulty.
