After a bit of advice if possible.

I have a downstairs toilet which has no basin. The door opens inwards but it's not practical to swap & have it open outwards as it would open straight onto the space where the back door opens (also inwards - the two doors are at 90 degrees to each other). Hoping to sell the house this year and wanted to know if anyone knew if there are any rules on wc's without basins (house built 1948) or any thoughts on squuezing one in somehow?

Many thanks

heeelllooo and welcome bishbosh09 :D :D :D

age off house not relevant in this case regs at time off alteration the important factor

when was it altered ??

Hi big-all,

have been updating for a few months now but as yet the toilet hasn't been touched so it's still as it was when built (bar a few bright yellow 70's tiles on the wall!!) Was the Mrs' grandfathers house who lived in it since it was built but never did any major work.

Cheers

if you have not made any structural changes the the regulations at the time of first [last ]alterations are applicable
if no structural alterations have been made then original planning will apply at time off alteration
