Really hoping someone can help with this as my lovely water service provider won't.
A few weeks back the water all cut off (naturally while I am in the shower covered in shampoo) to the flat I am in (top floor of 3). All water came back on within a few minutes.
Since then I have had no water coming through to the cold tap in the kitchen. It is a stand alone tap so the hot water is seperate. All other hot / cold taps work fine. This is also the feed to the washing machine.
I have done as advised by the water provider. Turn the tap on full and turn the EST on and off a few times to see if I can force anything through but this isn't working. From what I can tell this is the water pipe thats coming directly into the flat. There was no water in the pipe at all. I'm not sure if there is more than one feed into the flat as it's strange that no other taps are affected..
Service provider thinks theres a block in the pipe but again all other taps work fine so not sure how this can be. They have advised calling out a plumber but I'm trying to avoid the expense of this...
Any help / advice would be fantastic!
